In just one day you can see one of the most beautiful lagoons existing in the Cordillera Blanca, obviously with the help of a mobility that gives us the approach to Pitec

Day 1.

Departure from Huaraz, toward the town of Pitec (3,850 m.) (1 hour approx.)

After reaching Pitec start our hike to the lagoon Churup to 4,450 m. (3 hours approx.).

Once in the Laguna de Churup, we can stay one hour to enjoy the charm and beauty of this unforgettable place.

Trek back to Pitec (3 hours).

Return ground transportation to the city of Huaraz (1 hour approx).

DISTANCE FROM PITEC: 3 ½ Km.

Duration: 1 day.

Hiking time: 6 hours.

ALTITUDE: 4,450m.

DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY: Difficult.

STARTING POINT: PITEC 3,850 m.

MOUNTAINS: CHURUP 5,495 m.

GAPS: CHURUP 4,600 m.

In just one day you can see one of the most beautiful lagoons existing in the Cordillera Blanca, obviously with the help of a mobility that gives us the approach to Pitec then walk a flight of three hours, to appreciate the colors that radiates from this beautiful lagoon at 4,600 meters sea level, much frequented by local and foreign visitors.
